Terms and conditions
From the time the equipment leaves the premises to the time the equipment is returned to the premises, the customer is 100% responsible for the equipment. Our insurance does not cover you OR the equipment once it leaves the premises.
Any late fees, cleaning, repair or replacement fees will be charged to the credit card provided at the time of booking.
CANCELLATION POLICY
- 7 days or less no refund
- 8 days or more - full refund minus 10% in admin and bank fees.
EXTRA CHARGES - charged back to your credit card upon return for any:
- Equipment returned damaged or dirty
- Missing items
- Late returns
FULL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Hire Agreement:
By proceeding with the hire, the customer agrees to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
2. Equipment Use and Responsibility:
The customer is responsible for the proper use, care, and safekeeping of the rented equipment.
The equipment shall only be used for its intended purpose and in compliance with any applicable laws or regulations.
Any unauthorised modifications or repairs to the equipment are strictly prohibited.
The customer acknowledges that any person who uses, transports, picks up, or returns the hired equipment, whether authorised by the customer or not, shall be considered as acting on behalf of the customer. However, the customer explicitly understands and agrees that they will still be required to assume full responsibility for the equipment, including any damages, loss, or liabilities, regardless of the actions or involvement of other individuals.
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that any person using, transporting, picking up, or returning the hired equipment on their behalf is aware of and complies with all terms and conditions as stated. While such individuals may be acting on behalf of the customer, the customer acknowledges that they will bear the ultimate responsibility for any consequences arising from the use or handling of the equipment.
3. Booking and Payment:
The customer shall provide accurate and complete information for booking the equipment.
Full payment is required at the time of booking.
4. Hire Period:
The hire period begins at the agreed-upon start date and time and ends at the agreed-upon return date and time, as per the booking request form.
Any extensions to the hire period must be approved in advance and may be subject to additional charges.
5. Equipment Condition and Returns:
The equipment will be provided in good working condition and must be returned in the same condition.
The customer shall inspect the equipment upon receipt and report any existing damages to the hire company immediately.
The customer shall be liable for any damages, loss, or theft of the equipment during the hire period.
6. Liability and Insurance:
The customer assumes all risks and liabilities associated with the use of the rented equipment.
The customer is responsible for obtaining appropriate insurance coverage for the rented equipment, including liability insurance if necessary.
7. Cancellation and Refunds:
Cancellations made more than 8 days in advance of the hire start date will be eligible for a full refund minus 10% in processing fees.
Cancellations made within 7 days of the hire start date are non-refundable.
8. Indemnification:
The customer agrees to indemnify and hold the equipment hire company harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the use of the rented equipment.
9. Force Majeure:
Neither party shall be held liable for any delays or failure to perform their obligations due to circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to acts of nature, strikes, or government regulations.
10. Severability:
If any provision of these terms and conditions is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.
